Jefferson County Middle School: 3rd, 5th
CLOSING DATE: Until Filled
DESIRED START DATE: January 7, 2019
LOCATION: Warm Springs K-8 Academy and Jefferson County Middle School
PROGRAM HOURS: Monday – Thursday 4pm – 6pm; and will include paid preparation time.
Teacher may elect to teach one afternoon class a week, two, three, or all four. Literacy, Math, STEM, Counseling, and Elective classes.
SALARY: Hourly Pro-rata rate
GENERAL JOB DESCRIPTION: The primary purpose of this position is to plan and facilitate academic, enrichment, and recreational activities for out of school time program for students in compliance with the provisions of the 21st CCLC program grant. Each Instructor will work with their 21st CCLC colleagues to plan and coordinate program activities, monitor students, and connect with families at their assigned site.
POSITON REQUIREMENTS & QUALIFICATIONS:
- B.A Required
- Valid Oregon Teaching License
- Demonstrated record of effectiveness in their own teaching.
- Classroom teaching experience.
- Excellent written and oral communication skills and the ability to work positively and cooperatively with others.
- Knowledge of and experience with effective instruction and assessment.
- Excellent planning and organizational skills.
- Valid Driver License
