POSITION: Educational Assistant I    (7 positions for each location)             Temporary positions

LOCATIONS: Jefferson County Middle School; Warm Springs K-8 Academy

PROGRAM HOURS: Jefferson County Middle School            Monday – Thursday 3pm – 6pm

                               Warm Springs K-8 Academy                Monday – Thursday 3:30pm – 6pm

SALARY: Current hourly rate

QUALIFICATIONS / PREFERENCES:

• Must be “Highly Qualified” (See below)
• Experience working with students 

To be “Highly Qualified”, an Educational Assistant requires a high school diploma or the equivalent, and one of the following:

• An Associate's degree
• Two years of study at an institution of higher education - 72 credit hours
• Passed the District Assessment for educational assistants in the areas of reading, writing, math and pedagogy
