POSITION: Educational Assistant II                          

LOCATION:  Buff Elementary              

CLOSING DATE:  Until filled

START DATE:  August 30, 2018

HOURS:  5.75 hours/day

STARTING WAGES:   $13.42 / Hour           (2018-2019 Classified Salary Schedule to be determined)                        

QUALIFICATIONS OR EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:  

• Must be “Highly Qualified”
• Dependable, flexible, receptive to feedback/coaching
• Experience working with children

To be “Highly Qualified”, an Educational Assistant requires a high school diploma or the equivalent, and one of the following:

• An Associate's degree
• Two years of study at an institution of higher education - 72 credit hours
• Passed the District Assessment for educational assistants in the areas of reading, writing, math and pedagogy
