POSITION:  Educational Assistant I                           (Probationary Permanent)         

LOCATION: Buff Elementary School       

CLOSING DATE:  June 29, 2018

START DATE:   August 30, 2018

HOURS:   5.75 Hours / Day

WAGES:  $12.88 / Hour (2018-2019 Classified wage schedule to be determined)

QUALIFICATIONS:  

• Must be “Highly Qualified” (See below)
• Flexible, Dependable, Positive Attitude
• Collaborative team player
• Experience working with children

To be “Highly Qualified”, an Educational Assistant requires a high school diploma or the equivalent, and one of the following:

• An Associate's degree
• Two years of study at an institution of higher education - 72 credit hours
• Passed the District Assessment for educational assistants in the areas of reading, writing, math and pedagogy
