POSITION: Head Cook                                  Probationary/ Permanent Position 

LOCATION: Warm Springs K-8 Academy

CLOSING DATE:  Until Filled

START DATE:  August, 2018

HOURS:  8 hours / day                                                  Full Benefits       

STARTING WAGES:  $15.48/ hr. - $17.16/ hr. (2018-2019 Classified Wage Schedule to be determined)              

QUALIFICATIONS/PREFERENCES:

• High School Diploma or Equivalent
• Current Food handlers card and Oregon Driver’s license required
• Well versed in USDA rules and regulations
• Ordering and cooking large batches of food
• Working with and directing co-workers and training substitutes
• Knowledge of Federal State Regulations, Sanitation and HACCP Procedures.
• Knowledge of National School breakfast and lunch menu patterns and standardized recipes
• 5 years’ experience in National School lunch and breakfast programs preferred
• Able to lift, push and pull 40lbs on a continual basis.
