POSITION:  Educational Assistant I            (3 positions available)

LOCATION:  Warm Springs K-8 Academy  

CLOSING DATE: Open Until Closed                 

DESIRED START DATE: December 18, 2017

HOURS:  5.50 Hours / day

STARTING WAGES:   $12.88 / Hour                          

QUALIFICATIONS:  

• High School Diploma or GED
• Must be “Highly Qualified” (See below)
• Looking for people to assist with literacy in grades K-5
• Literacy experience
• Flexible, Dependable, Positive Attitude
• Needs to want to make a difference, and willing to work on improving student achievement at WSK8. 

To be “Highly Qualified”, an Educational Assistant requires a high school diploma or the equivalent, and one of the following:

• An Associate's degree
• Two years of study at an institution of higher education - 72 credit hours
• Passed the District Assessment for educational assistants in the areas of reading, writing, math and  pedagogy
