POSITION: Educational Assistant I      

LOCATION:  Madras Elementary School       

DESIRED CLOSING DATE: February 17, 2017

DESIRED START DATE:   February 22, 2017

HOURS:   5.75 Hours / Day

WAGES:   $12.57 / Hour                          

QUALIFICATIONS OR EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:   Experience in teaching reading to elementary students.

• Must be “Highly Qualified”
• Collaborative team player
• Flexible, Dependable and Positive Attitude

To be “Highly Qualified”, an Educational Assistant requires a high school diploma or the equivalent, and one of the following:

• An Associate's degree
• Two years of study at an institution of higher education - 72 credit hours
• Passed the District Assessment for educational assistants in the areas of reading, writing, math and  pedagogy
